NAGBIGAY-PUGAY si Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez sa mga ama ng sambayanang Pilipino, at kinilala ang kanilang mahalagang papel bilang haligi ng pamilya at puso ng komunidad.

Sa mensahe sa pagdiriwang ng Father’s Day ng Linggo, sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na ang mga amang Pilipino ay tahimik na mga bayani na araw-araw bumabangon upang mabigyan ng mas magandang buhay ang kanilang mga anak.

“This Father’s Day, I honor the quiet strength and everyday heroism of Filipino fathers. These are the men who rise each morning with a single goal in mind: to build a better life for their children,” ayon sa lider ng Kamara.

Dagdag pa niya, “As a father, I know the deep responsibility that comes with that role. I understand the long days, the sleepless nights, and the unwavering hope we carry for our families. I have felt the joy of small moments with my children and the worry that comes with every challenge they face.”

Nagbalik-tanaw rin si Speaker Romualdez sa naging impluwensya ng kanyang ama, na aniya’y patuloy na nagsisilbing gabay sa kanyang paglilingkod sa bayan.

“I also remember my own father, whose values of humility, service, and love for country shaped the man I am today. His guidance continues to inspire me in my work for the Filipino people,” wika ni Romualdez.

“Fatherhood, after all, is not just about providing. It is about building a future our children can stand on with pride,” giit pa ng House Speaker.

Ipinaabot din niya ang kanyang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng ama―maging nasa bansa o nagtatrabaho sa ibayong dagat―para sa kanilang walang sawang sakripisyo at pagmamahal.

“To all Filipino fathers, whether here at home or working far from your loved ones, whether leading from the front or standing quietly in support―you are the foundation of our families and the heart of our communities,” saad ni Speaker Romualdez.
