CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur – Walong katao na naaktuhang nagsusugal ang nahuli ng mga pulis sa siyudad na ito noong Linggo.

Ayon kay Col. Agosto Asuncion, police director, nasakote nina Lt. Col. Zaldy Fuentes ang walo dahil sa paglabag sa Presidential Decree No. 1602, o anti-illegal gambling law, sa Brgy. San Agustin, Candon City.

Ang mga individuals ay agad na dinala sa police station para sa kaukulang documentation at disposition.

“Candon CPS reiterates its commitment to maintaining peace and order and preventing illegal gambling activities within its area of responsibility.

The station assures the public that it will continue to intensify its efforts in enforcing the law and promoting a peaceful, safe, and secure community,” ani Col. Fuentes.
