IDINEKLARA na isang special non-working holiday ang Hunyo 30 sa Maynila.

Pinirmahan na ni outgoing Manila Mayor Isko Moreno ang Executive Order No. 53 na nagdedeklara na holiday ang araw ng inagurasyon ni President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na gagawin sa National Museum sa Ermita, Manila.

“The City Government of Manila, in coordination with the concerned agencies of the national government, has to close various thoroughfares in and around the perimeter of the inaugural venue, which will undeniably affect the flow of traffic of both motorists and the riding public,” sabi sa kautusan.

Si Marcos ay manunumpa bilang ika-17 Pangulo ng Republika ng Pilipinas.

“It is but fitting and proper that all citizens of the country, in general, and residents of the City of Manila, in particular, be given full opportunity to witness and welcome this significant event in the life of the nation,” sabi pa ng utos ni Moreno.

Libu-libong pulis ang ipakakalat ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa lugar upang matiyak ang kaayusan at seguridad ng mga lalahok sa okasyon.
