PINANGUNAHAN nina Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Atty. Don Artes, Marikina Mayor Maan Teodoro at Marikina Rep. Marcy Teodoro ang inagurasyon ng 1,133.21-square meter Jesus Dela Peña Recreational Park sa Brgy. Jesus Dela Peña, Marikina noong Huwebes.

Sinabi ni Artes na ang proyekto at naka-linya sa agenda ng pamamahala ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. sa ilalim ng Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028.

Ang inisyatiba ay nagtatampok ng pagsisikap ng pamahalaan na lumikha ng mas maraming luntiang lugar sa National Capital Region sa pakikipagtulungan sa 17 lokal na pamahalaan sa Metro Manila.

“This is one of the parks and multi-purpose halls provided by the MMDA. There are many green spaces in Marikina where the community can play and gather together. We are looking forward to more projects like this,” pahayag ni Mayor Teodoro.
