ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si retired judge at dating Manila Police District SPO4 Jaime Santiago bilang bagong director ng National Bureau of Investigation.

Nanumpa na sa tungkulin si Santiago kay Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin kahapon ng umaga.

Nakilala si Santiago bilang sharpshooter ng pulis Manila Special Weapons and Tactics.

Ginawang pelikula ang buhay ni Santiago noong 1996 kung saan ang actor na si Bong Revilla at may pamagat na SPO4 Santiago: Sharpshooter.

Nagtapos si Santiago ng kursong BS Criminology sa Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR) noong 1988 at Law sa Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU-LAW) noong 1993.

Si Santiago ay naging Deputy Executive Vice President ng Philippine Judges Association at dating presidente ng Metropolitan and City Judges Association of the Philippines (METCJAP).

Isa si Santiago sa 10 Outstanding Policemen of the Philippines (TOPP) ng Philippine Jaycees noong 2009 at Outstanding Criminologist ng Professional Regulation Commission noong 2012.
