NAGTUNGO ang National Housing Authority (NHA) sa Naic, Cavite para sa 42nd People’s Caravan sa Rancho Verde 2, Brgy. Malainen at mahigit 3,500 benepisyaryo ang nakiisa at nakinabang sa caravan.

Bilang kinatawan ni NHA General Manager Joeben A. Tai, pinangunahan ni Assistant General Manager Alvin S. Feliciano ang kaganapan

Ang People’s Caravan: “Serbisyong Dala Ay Pag-Asa” na inilunsad sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni GM Tai ay naglalayong maghatid ng iba’t-ibang serbisyo mula sa mga institusyon tulad ng medikal, scholarship, trabaho, abot-kayang produktong agrikultura, libreng gabay sa mga usaping legal at iba pa

Sinamantala ng mga lumahok ang pagkakataong mag-avail ng mga serbisyo at produkto na inaalok ng 40 partner-agencies ng ahensya.

Nag-alok ang ilang ahensya ng libreng medical consultation at dental mission at nagkaloob ng libreng maintenance na gamot, gupit, abot-kayang salamin sa mata, gayundin ang oryentasyon ukol sa responsible parenthood mula sa Department of Health (DOH), Commission on Population and Development (CPD), Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Office of the Provincial Health Office (OPHO), Municipal Health Office (MHO), at Optique Master & Optique Fashion Optical.

Ang mga dumalo ay pinaunlakan din sa iba’t- ibang serbisyong may kinalaman sa negosyo, tulad ng business name registration and orientation ng MSMEs programs mula sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI); information drive tungkol sa TUPAD, DILP/Kabuhayan, SPES, at career coaching mula sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); pangunahing oryentasyon sa pagbuo ng kooperatiba mula sa Cooperative Development Authority (CDA); at pagbibigay ng tulong teknikal sa mga negosyante mula sa Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer (OPCDO).

Para sa edukasyon, natutunan ng mga benepisyaryo ang iba’t ibang programa ng UniFAST sa ilalim ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED); nagbigay din ng orientation on food safety and awareness, at tulong sa scholarship mula sa Department of Science and Technology (DOST); at assistance para sa mga libreng scholarship programs at skills demonstration mula sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Nagkaroon din ng oryentasyon sa SLP at AICS ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), ang Municipal Social Welfare Office (MSWO), at ang Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (OPSWDO).

Ilan pa sa mga pangunahing serbisyong inalok ang pagbibigay ng libreng Wi-Fi service at eGov PH App/SIM card registration mula sa Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) at libreng legal na konsultasyon at affidavit of loss issuance mula sa Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).

Pinalawig ng Office of the Provincial Governor, Office of the Municipal Mayor, Office of the Vice Mayor, Office of the Cavite City Administrator at ang Office of the General Services Officer (OGS) ang kanilang logistics, security, at emergency standby services para sa buong kaganapan.

Nakatakdang isagawa ng NHA ang ika-43 People’s Caravan sa Hunyo 11 sa Tala, Caloocan City.
