51st MMFF: I’m perfect, Vice G. big winners
BEST Picture sa 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) ang pelikulang “I’m Perfect” at may award din ang “Manila’s Finest.”
Sinabi ni Metro Manila Development Authority General Manager Nicolas Torre III na sa pamamagitan ng pelikulang Pilipino pwedeng magkaisa ang mga Pilipino.
Nakuha rin ng “I’m Perfect” ang Best Ensemble award.
Best Actress si Krystal Go at nakuha ng Manila’s Finest ang 3rd Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Musical Score, Best Sound, Best Original Theme Song, Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award at Best Float, kasama ang pelikulang “Unmarry.”
Best Actor si Vice Ganda sa pelikulang “Call Me Mother” na nanalo rin ng Gender Sensitivity Award.
Best Director si Jeffrey Jeturian ng “Unmarry,” habang Male Stars of the Night sina Will Ashley & Dustin Yu, Female Star of the Night si Bianca de Vera, Best Visual Effects ang Santelmo, Inc. sa pelikulang Shake, Rattle, Roll: Evil Origins, Best Child Performer: Lucas Andalio, Call Me Mother, Best Supporting Actress: Odette Khan, Bar Boys After School, Best Supporting Actor: Tom Rodriguez, Unmarry, Best Screenplay: Chris Martinez at Therese Cayaba, Unmarry, Breakthrough Performance: Zack Sibug, Unmarry, at FPJ Memorial Award for Excellence: Bar Boys After School.
Ipinahayag ni Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Atty. Don Artes na umabot ng P1 millyon ang gross receipt ng festival sa unang araw ng screening.
Mapupunta ang kinita ng MMFF sa mga benepisyaryo tulad ng Movie Workers Welfare Foundation (Mowelfund), Film Academy of the Philippines, Motion Picture Anti-Film Piracy Council, Optical Media Board, at sa Film Development Council of the Philippines.
