IDINEKLARA ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na regular holiday sa buong bansa ang Abril 10 para sa paggunita sa Eid’l Fitr o Feast of Ramadhan.

Base sa Proclamation No. 514, idineklarang holiday ang Abril 10 para bigyan ng religious at cultural significance ang Eid’l Fitr.

“Whereas, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos has recommended the declaration of Wednesday, 10 April 2024, as a national holiday in observance of Eidl Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan),” saad ng proklamasyon.

Sa ganitong paraan, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na mabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga Filipino sa buong bans ana makiisa sa mga Muslim para sa peace at harmony.

“Whereas, in order to bring the religious and cultural significance of the Eid’l Fitr to the fore of national consciousness, and to allow the entire Filipino nation to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in peace and harmony in the observance and celebration of EidT Fitr, it is necessary to declare Wednesday, 10 April 2024, a regular holiday throughout the country,” saad ng proklamasyon.

Nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin ang proklamasyon kahapon, Abril 4.
