TUMAAS ang trust at performance rating ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. habang lumagapak naman ang numero ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Ayon sa second quarter Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey ng OCTA Research, 71 porsiyento sa mga Pilipino ang kuntento sa trabaho ni Pangulong Marcos sa second quarter. Mas mataas ang trust rating na ito ng dalawang puntos kumpara sa 69 porsiyento na naitala noong first quarter.

Bumaba naman ang trust rating ni Duterte na umabot na lamang sa 65 porsiyento kumpara sa 68 porsiyento noong first quarter.

“It must be noted that this is the second consecutive quarter that Duterte experienced a decline in her trust ratings, continuing the slide since the 4th quarter TNM survey conducted last December 2023,” saad ng OCTA.

“It is also noted that this is the first time [Marcos] has registered a higher trust and performance rating than Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio based on TNM surveys in the last three years,” dagdaga ng OCTA.

Nasa 68 porsiyento naman ang kuntento sa performance ng Pangulo na mas mataas ng tatlong puntos kumpara sa 65 porsiyento noong first quarter.

Bumaba naman ang performance rating ni Duterte at bumagsak sa 60 porsiyento mula sa 64 porsiyento.

“It is noted that this is the second consecutive quarter in which her performance ratings recorded a decline,” pahayag ng OCTA.

Sinabi naman ni Pangulong Marcos na ang pagtaas ng kanyang rating ay maaaring dahil sa puspusang pamimigay ng ayuda sa mga magsasaka at mangingisda na nasalanta ng El Niño.

“Well maybe, maybe kasama na ‘yon,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Pero higit sa lahat, ayon sa Pangulo, nakikita na kasi ng taumbayan na nagsusumikap ang administrasyon na mapaganda ang buhay ng mga Pilipino.

“But I think because it’s a trust rating, it is more na ‘yun na lang nakikita na we’re really doing our best to alleviate the hardships na dinadaanan ng mga tao. So it’s good to have that kind of result or statistic behind you —and again, every time this happens as far as I’m concerned, it seems to be people are beginning to understand what we are trying to do. They’re beginning to feel the effects of it. So we must continue to do more and even try to do even better, so that’s always an inspiration,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
