DISMAYADO si Ilocos Norte Governor Mather Marcos Manotoc sa mga birada ni Vice President Sara Duterte na ipahuhukay niya ang mga labi ni dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at itatapon sa West Philippine Sea.

Ayon kay Manotoc, masyadong personal na ang mga atake ni Duterte.

“I’m very saddened by the recent statements of our dear VP Inday Sara Duterte,” pahayag ni Manotoc.

Una nang sinabi ni Duterte na inabisuhan niya si Senador Imee Marcos na ipahuhukay ang dating Pangulo at itatapon sa WPS.

“Most of all, I was shocked to hear that Senator Imee R. Marcos was included as Sen. Imee has been a loyal friend and supporter to Sara for many years,” pahayag ni Manotoc.

“In my few interactions with VP Sara, she was always friendly and professional. It’s very disheartening to see her making things personal. As many say, this is just politics,” pahayag ni Manotoc.

Bumwelta si Duterte sa mga Marcos nang hindi maipaliwanag ang pag gastos sa pondo ng Office of the Vice President.

“I am reminded of an MLK Jr. quote: ‘”Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that,” pahayag ni Manotoc.

“I hope VP Sara finds peace and we wish her well,” pahayag ni Manotoc.

Si Manotoc ay anak ni Senador Imee, pamangkin ni Pangulong Marcos at apo ni dating Pangulong Marcos.
