NAKIISA si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa international community sa paggunita sa International Day of Solidarity para sa Palestine.

“We stand united with the Palestinian people – men, women, and children – in their collective aspiration for an enduring peace and prosperity,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“We are gravely concerned over the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza and the increasing tensions in the Middle East. We urge all parties to refrain from escalating the violence and to work towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict,” sabi ni Pangulong Marcos.

Oktubre 2023 nang sumiklab ang giyera sa pagitan ng Israel-Hamas.

“We condemn all attacks against civilians and civilian structures which have resulted in an alarming number of casualties, particularly women and children, and restricted access to food, water, medicine, and other basic needs,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“We call for rapid, safe, unimpeded, and sustained humanitarian access to all those in need. Diplomacy remains the cornerstone of achieving lasting peace in the Middle East,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Ayon sa ulat, tinatayang nasa 44,000 katao na ang nasawi sa giyera. Kabilang sa mga nasawi ang mga bata at babae.

“We recognize that the conflict can only be resolved through diplomatic engagement, dialogue, and comprehensive negotiations rooted in international law,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“The Philippines extends its full support for all initiatives that are geared towards the revival of the peace process and the achievement of a lasting and just solution to the Middle East conflict,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Hinikayat ni Pangulong Marcos ang lahat ng partido na magtulungan at maghanap ng mapayapang paraan para matuldukan ang giyera.
