KUMPIYANSA si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na malaking tulong sa Pilipinas sa pagtugon sa epekto ng climate change ang Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD).

Iginigiit ni Pangulong Marcos na sa Pilipinas dapat naka-base ang Board ng FRLD.

“We’re working very hard for the board to be based here in Manila because [of] its supreme importance for the Philippines, because of all of the risks that we are bracing [for], because of climate change,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos nang bumisita sa Malakanyang ang mga miyembro ng Board ng FRLD.

Sa naturang pulong, tinalakay ni Pangulong Marcos ang sunod sunod na bagyo na tumama sa bansaa sa nakalipas na linggo.

“The momentum since the industrial revolution is something that can’t be easily be moved or stopped or at least redirected. In the meantime, I hope all of you can find solution so that, we in the Philippines, most of our people do not suffer,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“That’s how urgent we consider the board’s work and how it is important to us that you work here in Manila, in the Philippines,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
