INENDORSO ng Party List Group na Coalition Foundation Inc. (PCFI) si House Majority Leader at Leyte 1st Dist. Rep. Martin G. Romualdez bilang susunod na House Speaker ng papasok pa lamang na 19th Congress sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.

Inihayag ng mga miyembro ng PCFI ang kanilang suporta kay Romualdez na inaasahang magkakaroon ng malaking impact sa papasok na 19th Congress sa pamamagitan ng isinagawa nilang pagtitipon sa Chef Jesse Restaurant sa Rockwell, Makati City.

“We, the Party List Representatives elected for the 19th Congress hereby affix our signatures in this joint statement to endorse Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez for Speaker in the 19th Congress. We recognize the vital role played by Rep. Martin Romualdez in his capacity as Majority Leader for three year in making the 18th Congress one of the most productive ever,” pahayag ng PCFI Party List Group.

Naniniwala din ang PCFI na kapag naluklok si Romualdez bilang House Speaker ay magagawa nitong pagkaisahin ang iba’t-ibang partido politikal sa loob ng Kongreso upang magkaroon ng suporta para sa legislative agenda ng papasok na administrasyong Marcos.

“We firmly believe that Rep. Martin Romualdez, once elected Speaker of the 19th Congress, will be able to unite different political parties in the House of Representatives in support of the incoming President’s legislative agenda. We will also issue this statement to pledge our commitment in support of the legislative agenda to be presented by President Bongbong Marcos, Jr.in the opening of the 19th Congress,” ayon pa sa PCFI.

Si House Deputy Speaker at 1-Pacman Party List Rep. Mikee Romero ang kasalukuyang Presidente ng PCFI.

Pinasalamatan naman ni House Majority Leader Martin G. Romualdez sina dating Pangulo at Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo gayundin si Presidential son at Ilocos Norte 1st Dist. Rep. Sandro Marcos. Kabilang na ang lahat ng mga kasapi ng iba’t-ibang political parties dahil sa pag-endorso sa kaniya bilang susunod na House Speaker.
