2 bagong CA justice itinalaga ni Duterte
PINANGALAN na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang dalawang bagong justice ng Court of Appeals (CA).
Ayon kay acting presidential spokesman Martin Andanar ito ay sina John Lee Zurbito at Eleutrio Larisma Bathan.
“The Palace congratulates Mr. John Zurbito Lee and Mr. Eleuterio Larisma Bathan on their appointment as Associate Justices of the Court of Appeals,” sabi ni Andanar. “We wish both Associate Justices all the best, and we are confident that they would dispense justice with fairness, impartiality and integrity.”
Si Lee at Bathan ang magiging kapalit nina Associate Justice Japar Dimaampao, at Associate Justice Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga.
Si Dimaampao ay nauna ng itinalaga ni Duterte bilang bagong Associate Justice ng Korte Suprema samantalang si Montejo-Gonzaga ay nagbitiw noong Nobyembre 2021.
