DAHIL sa matinding kampanya ni Philippine National Police acting chief Lieutenant General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. laban sa mga tolongges na parak, 269 na kaso laban sa mga tiwaling pulis at 92 sa mga ito ang napatunayang “guilty” ng mga kasong isinampa laban sa kanila kaya tuluyan nang nasibak sa pwesto.

Isinampa ang 269 disciplinary cases mula August 26 hanggang September 24, ang ika-1 buwan ni Lt. Gen. Nartatez bilang 32nd PNP chief.

Nauwi sa 92 dismissals, 18 demotions, 117 suspensions, 2 forfeitures ng sweldo, 27 reprimands, 8 restrictions and 5 pagbawi ng privileges ang mga sinampang kaso, ayon sa report.

Ayon kay Lt. Gen. Nartatez, walang 2nd chance para sa mga parak na magkakasala sa ilalim ng kanyang panunungkulan.

“Our zero-tolerance policy remains non-negotiable. In my first month as acting chief, we made it clear: no violation goes unchecked. These actions show our determination to uphold accountability and restore confidence in the PNP,” sabi ng PNP chief.

Ayon kay PNP spokesperson Brigadier Gen. Randulf T. Tuaño, gusto ng hepe ng PNP ng quick resolution para sa lahat ng isinampang kaso sa mga nagkasalang parak.

“These resolved cases reflect our continued efforts to cleanse the organization of unprofessional conduct and to enforce the highest standards of accountability.

We remain steadfast in our mission to serve and protect every Filipino with honor and integrity,” diin ni Gen. Tuano.
