ISINAILALIM na sa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 4 ang mahigit 10 lugar sa Luzon dahil sa patuloy na pananalasa ng Bagyong Paolo.

Ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric, Geophycal and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), nitong Biyernes ng umaga (Oktubre 3), nag-landfall na ang bagyong Paolo sa Dinapigue, Isabela.

Sa weather bulletin na inilabas alas-11 ng umaga, huling namataan si Paolo sa bisinidad ng San Guillermo, Isabela taglay ang lakas ng hangin na 130 kilometro kada oras at pagbugso na hanggang 215 kilometro kada oras.

Kumikilos ito sa direksyong west northwestward sa bilis na 25 kilometro kada oras.

“On the forecast track, Paolo will cross the landmass of Northern Luzon today, and emerge over the West Philippine Sea this afternoon or evening. It will continue moving west northwestward until it exits the Philippine Area of Responsibility tomorrow (04 October) morning,” ayon sa Pagasa)

“Tropical storm Paolo” may slightly weaken while traversing the rugged terrain of Northern Luzon although maintaining typhoon category is not ruled out. Based on the intensity forecast, re-intensification is highly likely once Paolo emerges over the West Philippine Sea,” dagdag pa ng ahensya.
