DBM: P151B nakalaan sa social protection service program ng DSWD

MAYROONG nakalaang p151 bilyon sa mga social protection service program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) ngayong taon.

Ayon sa Department of Budget and Management (DBM) kasama sa mga programang popondohan ang Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP), Protective Services for Individuals and Families in Difficult Circumstances (PSIFDC) at Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

Ang SLP ay may matatanggap na P6.46 bilyon, ang SFP ay may P5.2 bilyon, ang PSIFDC ay may P36.82 bilyon, at ang 4Ps ay P102.61 bilyon.

Sinabi ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman na ipagpapatuloy ng gobyerno ang pagtulong sa mga Pilipino, partikular ang mga bulnerableng sektor.

“The mandate of President Bongbong Marcos is clear— for the government to ensure that no Filipino will be left behind. Alam din po namin na ang mga social assistance programs na kagaya nito ay nagsisilbing sandalan ng mga kababayan nating lubos na nangangailangan. (We also know that social assistance programs like these provide strong support for our countrymen in need.) And for these, the DBM will exert its utmost to make sure that these programs are funded,” sabi ni Pangandaman.
