KINUMPIRMA ng Malacañang ang pagtatalaga kay dating Commission on Elections Commissioner Antonio Kho bilang Associate Justice ng Korte Suprema.

Ayon kay acting Presidential spokesperson at Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles pinirmahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang appointment paper ni Kho noong Pebrero 23.

“We wish Associate Justice Kho success in the Supreme Court, and we are confident that he will continue to dispense justice to every man, woman and child with integrity, impartiality and fairness,” sabi ni Nograles.

Si Kho ay nagretiro sa Comelec noong Pebrero 2. Siya ang papalit kay dating Associate Justice Rosmari Carandang na nagretiro noong Enero.
