ITINAAS ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) ang Alert Level 1 sa Bulkang Bulusan.

Sa inilabas na advisory ng PHIVOLCS, sinabi nito na nakapagtala ang 126 volcanic earthquake mula alas-5 ng umaga noong Oktobre 11 hanggang umaga ng Oktobre 12.

“Most of these events occurred in the northwestern sector and the summit area of Bulusan and are attributed to rock-fracturing processes within the edifice. In addition to these earthquakes, several monitored parameters indicate increased hydrothermal activity and overall unrest,” sabi ng PHIVOLCS.

Ipinaalala ng PHIVOLCS na ipinagbabawal ang pagpasok sa loob ng 4-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) at kailangan ng ibayong pag-iingat sa loob ng 2-kilometer Extended Danger Zone (EDZ).

Nagbabala rin ang PHIVOLCS laban sa pagdaan ng mga eruplano malapit sa bunganga ng bulkan.
