ISINAILALIM na sa state of calamity ng provincial government ang Albay sanhi ng pag-aalburuto ng bulkang Mayon.

“The Province of Albay is now placed under a STATE OF CALAMITY pursuant to Resolution No. 0607-2023 of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Albay, following the notice issued yesterday by PHIVOLCS raising the status of Mayon volcano to Alert Level 3,” ayon sa Albay Public Information Office.

Itinaas ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) sa Alert Level 3 ang bulkan kamakailan dahil sa dumaraming aktibidad nito.

Sa pagsasailalim sa state of calamity, magagamit na ng provincial government ang P42 milyong quick response nito sa pagtulong sa mga naapektuhang residente.
