Command conference pinagunahan ni Lt. Gen. Nartatez
PINANGUNAHAN ni acting Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. noong Biyernes ang uang command conference Frida sa Camp Crame kung saan sinabi sa kanya na mataas ang morale ng mga pulis.
“This is my very first command conference and according to the feedback of all those present, the morale of the PNP is high,” sabi ni Gen. Nartatez.
Present lahat ng members ng PNP Command Group, 18 Police Regional Office directors, mga pinuno ng PNP National Operational and Administrative Support Units at mga directors ng PNP Directorial Staff sa command conference.
“I just laid down my programs and the focused activities of the PNP before hearing different emerging problems and challenges of our regional directors in their jurisdiction,” paliwanag niya.
Ayon kay Lt. Gen. Nartatez, nasa command na ang Sulu sa Police Regional Office 9 na dating sakop ng PRO-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Inatasan niya sina PRO-9 chief Brigadier Gen. Eleazar P. Matta at PRO-BARMM chief Brig. Gen. Jaysen C. de Guzman na tiyaking smooth ang transfer ng Sulu sa PRO-9
Pinag-usapan din sa command conference ang nakatakdang BARMM parliamentary elections sa Oct. 13. “We still have seven weeks to prepare and we will ensure that this election will be safe and secure and fair by making contingencies and preparations for the event,” ayon kay Gen. Nartatez.
Tiniyak ni PNP Public Information Office chief at spokesperson Brig. Gen. Randulf T. Tuaño na titiyakin ng PNP ang safe, secure at fair BARMM parliamentary elections.
“Although I just assumed as acting chief PNP, I personally supervised operations in BARMM and continue to provide direction to ensure readiness. We are following a tested security template used in past elections and improving it to address emerging challenges,” sabi ni Lt. Gen. Nartatez.
Aabot sa 16,000 dagdag na police ang ide-deploy sa BARMM para sa halalan.
Ipinaalala ni Lt. Gen. Nartatez ang eight directives sa mga pulis at kasama rito ang 5-min response program na sinimulan ng sasibak na si Gen. Nicolas Torre III.
