MAYROONG 32,916 teaching positions na bago ang Department of Education (DepEd) na aprobado ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) para sa school year 2026–2027.

Ayon kay Education Secretary Sonny Angara, iba-iba ang mga bagong positions mula sa Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High School, Senior High School at Alternative Learning System (ALS).

“This is a critical step in giving our schools the structural support they need to deliver quality education,” sabi ni Angara.

Binubuo ang 32,047 na Teacher I, 369 Teacher III as Special Science Teacher I positions at 500 na Teacher IV para sa Special Needs Education (SNED).

Sa Zamboanga Peninsula mapupunta ang karamihan sa teacher 1 (3,361 total items.

Marami rin ang mapupunta sa Central Luzon, 2,722 items; Calabarzon, 2,644 items; Central Visayas 2,586 items; at Northern Mindanao, 2,541 items.

Magi-issue ang DBM Regional Offices ng Notice of Organization, Staffing, and Compensation Actions (NOSCAs) sa Schools Division Offices for Elementary, SHS at ALS positions para sa bagong positions.
