Mahigit 100 estudyante na-ospital sa ipinamigay na gatas, DepEd nag-iimbestiga
NAGSASAGAWA na ng imbestigasyon ang Department of Education matapos na ma-ospital ang mahigit 100 estudyante matapos umanong uminom ng gatas na ipinamigay ng eskuwelahan sa Negros Oriental.
“The Department of Education (DepEd) is investigating a suspected food-borne illnesses involving elementary students in Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental, due to alleged contaminated milk distributed in schools in the area under the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP),” sabi ng DepEd sa isang pahayag.
Nakikipag-ugnayan na umano ang DepEd sa lokal na pamahalaan ng Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental at National Dairy Authority.
Nagsuka at nasira umano ang tiyan ng mga bata na uminom ng gatas na ipinamigay ng Negros Oriental School Division Office.
Ang pamimigay ng gatas ay bahagi ng School-Based Feeding Program ng ahensya.
“DepEd, through the Bureau of Learner Support Services-School Health Division and concerned field offices, is committed to continue assisting the learners and their families. We will likewise look into possible actions against those responsible entities or individuals,” dagdag pa ng DepEd.
