PINAGTIBAY ng Senado nitong Martes ang mga resolusyong nagbibigay ng concurrence sa ratipikasyon ng magkahiwalay na Status of Visiting Forces Agreements ng Pilipinas sa Canada at New Zealand, ayon sa manifestation ni Sen. Erwin Tulfo sa plenaryo.

Nagpasalamat si Tulfo sa kanyang mga kasamahan, partikular kay Majority Floor Leader Sen. Migz Zubiri, matapos pagtibayin ang mga resolusyon.

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation to my colleagues, especially our Majority Floor Leader, Sen. Migz Zubiri, for the adoption of the Resolutions concurring in the ratification of the Status of Visiting Forces Agreement between the Philippines and Canada, and the Status of Visiting Forces Agreement between the Philippines and New Zealand,” sinabi ni Tulfo.

Nagpasalamat din siya sa Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of National Defense, Philippine Committee on Visiting Forces at iba pang ahensiya ng pamahalaan na lumahok sa mga pagdinig.

“Likewise, I extend my gratitude to the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of National Defense, the Philippine Committee on Visiting Forces, and all the other government agencies that participated in the hearings and contributed their expertise throughout the process,” sinabi niya.
