BINIGYANG DIIN ni House Deputy Speaker at Antipolo City 1st District Representative Ronaldo V. Puno na hindi kailanman nasangkot si House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Gomez Romualdez sa di-umano’y “budget insertion.”

Ito ang ipinahayag ng House Deputy Speaker kasunod ng mga ipinupukol na paratang ng ilang grupo laban kay Speaker Romualdez na di-umano’y nagsisingit ito o nagkakaroon ng insertion sa pambansang pondo para ngayong taon (2025).

“Well, here’s the process sa budget. The House version did not have insertions, it went to the Senate. The Senate and the Congress had a bicameral committee, the bicameral committee was composed of many representatives,” Paliwanag ni Puno.

Sinabi ni Puno na sa mga naganap na pulong kaugnay sa pagpo-proseso ng budget. Hindi kailanman dumalo dito si Speaker Romualdez maging si dating Senator Grace Poe ay hindi rin pinahintulutan dumalo.

“The House Speaker did not attend those meetings. Senator Grace Poe was not allowed to attend most of those meetings,” ayon pa kay Puno.

Gayunman, inakusahan naman nito ang dating lider ng Senado at isang politiko na nasa likod ng mga umano’y pagsisingit sa 2025 national budget.
