INALIS na ang coastal water ng Milagros, Masbate sa mga lugar na mayroong toxic red tide o Paralytic Shellfish Poison (PSP).

Ayon sa inilabas na report ng Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) ngayong Marso 17, mayroon pa ring toxic red tide sa coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol; Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur; at Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur.

“All types of shellfish and Acetes sp. or alamang gathered from the areas shown above are NOT SAFE for human consumption. Fish, squids, shrimps, and crabs are safe for human consumption provided that they are fresh and washed thoroughly, and internal organs such as gills and intestines are removed before cooking,” sabi ng DA-BFAR.
