ISANG administrative order ang nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na lumilikha sa isang inter-agency committee para paghandaan ang ika-125 anibersaryo ng kalayaan ng Pilipinas.

Ayon sa Presidential Communications Office (PCO), ang AO No. 8 ay nilagdaan ng Pangulo noong Mayo 2.

Ang National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) ang inatasan na mamuno sa inter-agency group at ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang vice-chair nito.

Kasama sa inter-agency committee ang Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Education (DepEd), Department of National Defense (DND), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Transportation (DOTr), at Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
