SERYOSO ang Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Office (SDO) ng Parañaque tungkol sa kumalat na malaswang video na kitang-kita ang lalaking guro na ginagawan ng kahalayan ang isang estudyante.

Nagsagawa ng walkout ang mga estudyante sa Parañaque National High School Main para kondenahin ang malaswang ginagawa ng guro sa classroom.

“We wish to assure our learners, parents, personnel, and stakeholders that these allegations are being treated with the utmost seriousness, urgency and impartiality. The Schools Division Office has initiated the appropriate processes and is undertaking the necessary actions in accordance with existing laws, Department of Education policies, child protection protocols, and due process requirements,” sabi ng DepEd sa statement.

Ayon sa DepEd, ang protection, welfare at best interests ng mga estudyante ang highest priority nila.

“Appropriate support mechanisms are being made available, and all concerned offices are coordinating closely to ensure that the rights and welfare of affected learners are safeguarded throughout the process,” ayon sa DepEd.

Sinabi ng SDO na nakiki-coordinate na sila sa mga otoridad para sa tamang handling ng kaso.

“We encourage all possible victims, witnesses, and individuals who may possess relevant information to come forward and cooperate with the ongoing inquiry.
