Red tide warning nakataas sa 6 probinsya

Nakataas ang red tide warning sa anim na probinsya, ayon sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).

Positibo umano sa Paralytic Shellfish Poison (PSP) o toxic red tide ang sample na nakuha sa:

– coastal waters ng Milagros sa Masbate;

– coastal waters ng Panay, President Roxas, at Pilar sa Capiz;

– coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol;

– Irong-irong, at San Pedro Bays sa Samar;

– Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur; at

– Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur.

All types of shellfish and Acetes sp. or alamang gathered from the areas shown are NOT SAFE for human consumption. Fish, squids, shrimps, and crabs are safe for human consumption provided that they are fresh and washed thoroughly, and internal organs such as gills and intestines are removed before cooking,” sabi ng BFAR.

Ayon sa BFAR wala ng red tide sa Sapian Bay (Ivisan at Sapian), at coastal waters ng Roxas City sa Capiz.
