SA gitna ng masamang panahon ay tuloy-tuloy ang pagpapa-abot ng tulong ni Leyte 1st District Representative Martin Romualdez at Tingog Partylist sa mga pamilyang apektado ng pagbaha dulot ng habagat na pinalakas ng mga bagyo.

Ngayong Huwebes ay nagtungo sina Tingog Partylist Rep. Yedda Romualdez at Tingog Partylist Director for Community Engagement Karla Estrada sa Pasig City upang tulungan ang mga pamilyang lumikas.

Kabuuang 276 pamilya o 1,137 katao na pansamantalang nanunuluyan sa West Bank Community Center, Maybunga Elementary School, at De Castro Elementary School ang tumanggap ng hot meals at mga relief pack na may lamang 10 kilong bigas, tubig, meryenda, at kumot bilang agarang tulong.

Ang aktibidad ay isinagawa sa pakikipag-ugnayan kay Pasig Lone District Representative Roman Romulo upang matiyak ang mabilis na pagtugon sa mga nangangailangang residente.

“Our kababayans deserve swift, compassionate, and consistent support, especially in times of crisis. Tingog will continue to mobilize available resources to ensure support to those in need,” ani Rep. Yedda.

Sabi naman ni Tingog Partylist Rep. Jude Acidre: “We believe that governance must be felt most during emergencies. This is why Tingog remains steadfast in bringing government closer to the people, especially the most vulnerable sectors.”

Sinabi naman ni Rep Martin na siya ay nakikiisa sa mga nasalanta.

“We are one with the people of Pasig during these challenging times. Together with our partners in government, we are committed to providing immediate assistance and long-term recovery support to those impacted by the storms. Walang maiiwan,” sabi ni Rep. Martin na Speaker ng nakaraang Kongreso.
